Step 1: Mark the desired location of the pond and dig the hole. Leave a mound of dirt along the perimeter of the pond.
Step 2: Cover the entire surface with the pond liner. The liner should extend over the sides of the pond by 20-12 inches.
TIP: If roots and/or debris are present, line the bottom with carpet remnants or sand to protect the liner from punctures.
Step 3: Cover the liner with rock including the 10-12 inches around the perimeter; leave a small area void of rock to run the cords outside the pond. Trim the excess liner.
Step 4: Add assembled pump and lights to pond. TIP: Position the lighting and run the cord to the outside of the pond; cover all cords completely with rock.
Step 5: Fill pond with water.
TIP: We also recommend adding Chlorine Remover before adding any fish or plants to water. Chlorine Remover detoxifies heavy metals from water and instantly removes chlorine and chloramines.
