TotalPond® Water Treatments help promote a healthy pond environment. Each treatment is specially formulated to prevent or solve different water issues. When used correctly throughout the pond season, you can ensure your pond and its inhabitants stay happy and healthy.
Water Quality
Perform a water test before administering water treatments to get insight into what’s happening beneath the surface of your pond.
Overcrowding
Ensure your pond isn't overcrowded with fish. Knowing how many can live comfortably in your pond can be confusing, but there are a few ways to figure it out.
Aeration
Before using water treatments, especially in warm weather, make sure the pond has strong constant and vigorous aeration to avoid fish loss due to low oxygen levels. Don't shut pond pumps or aeration devices off overnight.
Dosages
Water treatments have different concentrations and strengths; a capful of one may be stronger than a capful of another.
