• Stop algae growth in its tracks! TotalPond Algaecide restores the health of your pond or water feature by preventing green water, eliminating existing algae, and resolving additional algae blooms. 
• How it works: Effectively controls many types of green or green water algae, string or hair algae, and blanketweed in ponds that contain live plants. Can be used in ponds with fish and plants. 
• When to use: Ideal for when green water or algae appear. 
• Dosage: One 16 oz. bottle treats up to 4,730 gallons of water. Add 1 tsp (5ml) for every 50 gallons of pond/fountain water. Weekly doses will control growth and reduce pond or fountain maintenance.

• Active ingredient: Poly[oxyethylene (dimethyliminio) ethylene (dimethyliminio) ethylene dichloride]  
• Dosage TIP: When using this product in warm weather, be sure to dose the water carefully. Several doses should be spaced 5 to 7 days apart until desired results are achieved. 
• Aeration TIP: Especially in warm weather, before using water treatments make sure the pond has strong, constant aeration — ex. fountain, waterfall, or other aeration devices — to avoid low oxygen levels.
